Hours:10 hours per day, 9.5 paid per day

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Operative with experience operating telehandlers to join our team. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities while providing support for material handling and site logistics using a telehandler.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Maintenance:

  • Perform routine checks and general upkeep of the facility, including cleaning, repairs, and reporting issues.

  • Assist with planned preventative maintenance and respond to facility-related emergencies.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the site.

  • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes.

Telehandler Operation:

  • Safely operate the telehandler for loading, unloading, and transporting materials on-site.

  • Conduct pre-use checks and regular maintenance of the telehandler.

  • Support stock management by moving goods and materials efficiently.

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely delivery of site requirements.

General Duties:

  • Monitor and replenish stock levels for consumables and tools.

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any incidents or hazards.

  • Assist with site logistics, including setup for events, equipment relocation, and general labouring tasks.

  • Support other team members as needed to meet operational goals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in a facilities operative role or similar.

  • CSCS Card

  • Valid certification for operating a telehandler (e.g., CPCS or NPORS).

  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices.

  • Ability to carry out basic maintenance tasks and use hand tools.
