The Role:

Our client currently has a requirement for Industrial Painter / Blaster Supervisors for a major industrial project on a shipyard in Belfast. The work will involve supervising and overseeing the preparation of surfaces, blasting, painting and coating tanks and vessels on site. Duties will include:

  • Effectively managing time, coordinating tasks with the team in line with the work schedule, and meeting project deadlines.

  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and that quality standards are maintained

  • Ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition and that work areas are tidy

  • Communicating with the team, sharing updates, clarify project requirements, addressing any concerns, attending progress meetings and collaborating with colleagues to achieve successful project outcomes

Requirements:

  • CSCS / CCNSG

  • ICATS / TTP

  • SSSTS / IOSH

  • 3+ years of experience in the supervision of industrial blasting and painting processes
