Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing hygienic food process pipework and equipment in compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the integrity of our clients' food production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation and Fabrication:

    • Install, assemble, and fabricate hygienic food process piping systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.

    • Ensure proper alignment, fit, and welding of pipes, fittings, and fixtures to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.

  2. Maintenance and Repair:

    • Conduct routine maintenance inspections and repairs on existing piping systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with hygiene standards.

    • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to leaks, corrosion, or other defects, and implement appropriate solutions in a timely manner.

  3. Hygiene and Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere to strict hygiene protocols and safety regulations while working in food processing environments.

    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and properly dispose of waste materials in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.

  4. Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify the integrity and functionality of piping systems and components.

    • Document all work performed, including test results, inspections, and maintenance activities, to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards.
