Hours: Mon Thurs 10 hours (8 Hours basic 2 hours OT1 | Friday 7.5 hour (7 Hours basic 0.5 hours OT1)

The Role:

We are seeking skilled and experienced Pipe Fitters to work on a heavy industrial project in Alloa. The successful candidate will work with both carbon and stainless steel piping systems. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards. Must be able to fabricate spools.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation and Assembly:

  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using hand and power tools.

  • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications.

  • Install supports, brackets, and hangers to ensure proper alignment and stability of piping systems.

  1. Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Inspect piping systems for leaks, corrosion, and other defects.

  • Perform necessary repairs and replacements of faulty components.

  • Conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of piping systems.

  1. Welding and Fabrication:

  • Weld components using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.

  • Fabricate pipe supports, brackets, and other necessary fixtures.

  • Ensure welds meet industry standards and pass required inspections.

  1. Blueprints and Schematics:

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine job specifications and requirements.

  • Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair activities based on job specifications.
