Job Title: Plating Supervisor
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £28.00 per hour Monday to Friday. £31.00 per hour weekends. £50.00 per day lodge allowance.

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plating Supervisor to join our dynamic team for a challenging new build tank construction project. As the Plating Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the plating activities during the construction of large industrial tanks. Your expertise in plating processes and your ability to lead a team will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of this project.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of platers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, project timelines, and quality standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship to plating team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Plating Process Management:
Oversee all plating activities, including surface preparation, application of coatings, and quality control measures.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to guarantee the highest standards of plating workmanship.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any deviations from quality standards.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with other construction teams and project managers to coordinate plating activities within the overall construction schedule.
Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth workflow and resolve any issues promptly.
Safety Compliance:
Uphold and enforce safety regulations and best practices on the construction site.
Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safety-conscious work environment
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of plating activities, including daily progress reports, material usage, and any incidents.
Generate regular status reports for project management, highlighting achievements and potential challenges.
