Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Manager with a strong background in fitting, working at height, and rope access. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in supervising site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, and managing project documentation efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

  • Supervise and support teams carrying out installation, maintenance, and fitting work at height.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements.

  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inductions.

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Complete and maintain site documentation, reports, and compliance records.

  • Identify and mitigate potential site hazards, implementing safe working practices.

  • Assist in problem-solving on-site and ensure that all work meets quality standards.

  • Manage site logistics, equipment, and materials to optimize workflow.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Site Manager, or similar role.

  • Strong fitting and installation experience, particularly in projects requiring work at height.

  • In-depth knowledge of working at height regulations and health & safety standards.

  • Proficiency in creating and managing method statements, risk assessments, and other documentation.

  • CSCS, SMSTS, or SSSTS certification preferred.

  • Ability to lead a team effectively, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety procedures.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
